Corona 03:27
3-15-2020 Sunday 2:30pm. 8:45pm; 3-16-20 key of D CORONA - we wondered how the world would change
CORONA -  by eating bats and pangolins?
our diet made us lose our breath
then global travel spread the death, CORONA CORONA - you cleverly  just killed the old CORONA - you did your job;  we got their gold there's so much wealth   for everyone there's much more land  under the sun, CORONA
CHORUS: You made the world   a better place
By thinning out   the human race, you killed the old   and in the way
New happiness is   here to stay, CORONA. (Extension) CORONA -  the animals are happier CORONA -  so many humans…   gone away
The water’s clear, the skies are blue
New paradise is yours to view, CORONA CORONAS - we call you now, our   lucky  stars
CORONA -  we stay at home   and pass the hours
we live our life in ivory towers
And now we're glad, ‘cuz WE’VE GOT OURS! CORONA CHORUS: You made the world   a better place
By thinning out   the human race, you killed the old   and in the way
New paradise is   here to stay, CORONA, CORONA, CORONA, CORONA (D-G-E-A)

If Gaia 03:53
IF GAIA. 4-6-2020 https://researchpubs.com.bandcamp.com/track/if-god So If Gaia made the world in all its glory Then Gaia made Corona — end of story! If Darwin said: The world is Evolution Devo said, “It’s REALLY De-volution!” If music is your Land of Milk and Honey, And musicians tell you what to think; that’s funny! Well, Corona means you’ll reach your “Heaven” quickly And you’ll leave earth behind you, but sickly (leave the earth behind) CHORUS Everything Dies! / Everyone lies! Maybe you tried / To save the world; oh my! Pollution killed The Bees — Poured plastic in the seas Killed the Amazon / The Great Barrier Reef You reap just what you sow!” FinTech said, “Money does My Sacred Will Makes me rich — gives me One Big Thrill! The Economy — it never really existed It’s here because no humans resisted Real Estate’s a scam, just like stocks and bonds They’ve always been Just One Big Con Somethin for Nuthin’ is the Number One Big Lie Gamble on promises ’till the time we die. (‘till the time we die) We used to work all day playing’ the game We were living like we were in a trance ‘Till the Day of Reckoning finally came We discovered we were fools in a false romance When the gas and electricity’s all gone Will we realize we were driving toward our doom? When the billionaires retreat to yachts and farms Will all the villagers unite to bring them harm? CHORUS Everything Dies! / Everyone lies! Maybe you tried / To save the world; oh my! Corporations killed The Trees — Poured plastic in the seas Killed the Amazon / The Great Barrier Reef You reap just what you sow!”

Will the rich start taking the blame? Will religions cease their game? Let Mother Nature Take over Will language be re-invented? Can the world stay so demented? We could easily re-do the planet If everyone got together Well Maybe it’s not so bad There’s plenty out there to make you glad A mango, cherries, or a peach All the fruit that’s within your reach All the movies with all their thunder All the books that make you wonder All the music that can thrill your life All the art that conquers strife CHORUS (Low) Will the world stop being insane? Will the rich start taking the blame? Wlll religions cease their game? Let Mother Nature Take over Will language be re-invented? When will words be re-imagined? When will New Worlds be imagined?

about

Being of a "Punk" anti-status-quo persuasion, I thought of asking, "What **GOOD** can come out of this corona pandemic?!?

The first song titled "CORONA" tried to be written from the corona virus's point-of-view! A few older people didn't like it because they couldn't comprehend that it's SATIRE! But, YOU be the judge!

The second song was titled "Let's All Stay Home!" as a POSITIVE response to "lockdown"! I mean, this is an OPPORTUNITY to start writing, drawing, making art, doing projects, et al. Suddenly people have A LOT OF TIME ON THEIR HANDS: what a GIFT; USE IT!! I imagined the song being karaoke-sung by thousands in a huge stadium: "LET'S ALL STAY HOME!"

The first two songs were sung by Marian Wallace (my producer), because I had zero confidence (and experience) in singing.

But, other songs started "showing up" and I became forced to sing them myself so I could record them "on tape" more quickly and move on. Because it's hard to "channel" a NEW song until the last one has been recorded; finished.

The third song, "I LOVE THAT CAT" appeared because it was obvious that the cat-of-the-house, Abby, seemed to LIKE the fact that we were home ALL THE TIME now! So, THAT was a positive outcome of "corona lockdown"!

The fourth song, "SONG FOR COSTCO" was inspired because: my Number One Urge To Leave Home was to visit Costco.

I can take one bus there direct and back, no transfer. If you don't know it, Costco is the cheapest place to have a great meal on the planet, and if you go at the right time you can have an entire meal out of the free samples scattered about (uh, not anymore, post-coronavirus). Also, you can buy a great lightweight down jacket there for something like $25 or $30; unbelievable! Everything there is at wholesale or below.

My song "BOOMER REMOVER" was inspired by reading a newspaper account how in Wuhan, the large city where coronavirus allegedly started, a store videocam caught some troublemaker coming in and trying to touch all the produce and products. You figure out why!

Because I could no longer go for a daily walk, I wrote a fantasy song, "LET'S GO WALKING". It's kind of a salute to a few people I've known through the years who are still likable, or more so!

The song "I'M DREAMING" came out of real dreams—for a better world, you guessed it! And because I love to travel.

Then the songs started getting "heavier": being more and more critical of what was happening worldwide, attempting to glean causes and escape routes from our self-imposed (but essential) quarantine. I was reporting on what I read in newspapers, like: countries are printing money to try to "save" their "economy"!

"STIR CRAZY" was written out of obvious reasons! I'm assuming everybody reading this newsletter has also been in "lockdown" since March 11, like me!

"CORONA 2", "IF GAIA..." and "CORONA-TIME BLUES" are definitely kinda "political"! They have lines like: "New York is a hellhole / not the place to be // It's far worse now than Deutschland, Spain and Italy... They say Brazil is next / South America too / They say that Africa and all the world through / Will get CORONA — omnipresent enemy."

I read in newspapers that there were so many thousands of bodies in New York that funeral homes stopped taking phone calls, and that literally thousands of bodies are being buried in huge holes in some park by bulldozers—but at night, so nobody can see this!

My "Punk" instinct says we're gonna be in lockdown for TWO YEARS! So, start enjoying it! Get real!

"ALL YOU EVER WANTED" and "MEMORIES" are kind of introspective or about past friends and loves, perhaps. Or about the necessity to ask questions now, like, "What are my favorite memories of all time?" and "Who are the best friends I've ever had?" And Most of us have TIME now to answer such questions!
